Designs

About the designs:
All work is done free motion and is hand guided by me. I do not use a computer guided machine. Therefore there will be variations within the quilt and from quilt to quilt. You can see some examples of actual quilting in the Gallery.


Group #1 (Economy Quilting):
1.5¢ - 1.75¢ per square inch.
Medium density free motion designs such as meander/stipple, loops, loops and stars.

Group #2 (Pantographs):

2¢ per square inch & up
More complicated all over free motion designs such as water, wood grain, and swirls. Medium density all over pantograph designs.

Group #3 (Light Custom):

Starts at 3¢ per square inch
Light Custom quilting. 2-3 all over designs used throughout the quilt with attention to borders (stitch in the ditch.) This does not include tiny micro-quilting such as pebbles, stippling, or McTavishing.

Group #4 (Heavy Custom):
Starting at 5¢ per square inch
Custom Quilting. Blocks are individually enhanced, borders receive special attention. Techniques such as feathers, ruler work, stitch in the ditch, and micro quilting are used.
